About this diary:
This is the diary of Bosidn Thomas Leech, beginning in December 1893 and ending in February 1894. This is the true diary of a businessman, and is evident throughout. His entries are long and informative, an obvious recording of business occurrences for future reference. This particular section of this diary depicts numerous meeting with the Manchester Ship Canal Company regarding the Ship Canal Bill and other material. Bosdin was heavily involved in the Manchester Ship Canal, and one of the entries depicts Bosdin receiving his invitation to the Manchester Ship Canal opening. This diary has been transcribed and edited by Tom Hornsby and is 58 pages long.
